To me, the line where it goes, "and tell me when you leave, so i can finally breathe, though suffocating isn't so bad" has a personal meaning to me. Im sure most other people who have been dumped felt the same way. But to me, its that feelign where you're feeling like crap and you know that moving on would be the best thing to do, but you dont want to move on, because that would mean not caring about the person anymore. So you enjoy the "suffocating" (the suffering with heartache) to cling onto what you thought was love.
