Cocaine Lyrics
Hey Jim
A knife, a fork, a bottle and a cork
That's the way you spell New York...Right on
No matter what I feed my guests
they always like my kitchen the best
Cause I got a whole lotta
Cocaine running around in my brain
Man o man o man I gotta be on the run
Cause I gotta meet that setting sun
I gotta whole lotta
Cocaine running around in my brain
A knife, a fork, a bottle and a cork
That's the way you spell New York...Right on
they always like my kitchen the best
Cause I got a whole lotta
Cocaine running around in my brain
Cause I gotta meet that setting sun
I gotta whole lotta
Cocaine running around in my brain

This song has the same bassline as public enemy's shake your booty. does anyone know the song that public Enemy samples from and that cocaine is based on?
This song was orignally by a Jamacian Reggae band called Dillinger. I heard the original on Triple J once. The cruel sea version is very different.
What I want to know is if the intro to the song with tex being interviewed by the police for drug possession is real.
Officer: "I intend asking you some questions concerning your possesion of a dangerous drug, do you understand?"
tex perkins: "yes" female officer: "What is your occupation?" tex: "im a musician."
thanx heaps =) It wouldn't suprise me if it is,but I doubt it is, I mean how would you get hold of something like that?
