And Me Lyrics
Once again I'm all wrapped up in me
My best friend's my own worst enemy
Electricity and gravity
Oh my god now take a look at me
My life line's run by AT&T
They got their wires all up in me
Is push and pull the way it's got to be
Once again I'm all wrapped up in me and me
My best friend's my own worst enemy
Electricity and gravity
Oh my god now take a look at me
My life line's run by AT&T
They got their wires all up in me
Is push and pull the way it's got to be
Once again I'm all wrapped up in me and me

First of all, I'm proud to be the first to comment on this song
I listened to this CD a lot when I was really young and I think it was for the better because this song in particular gave me real perspective on music and what music could be and I think that this is one of those songs that made me a better musician, creatively speaking. I'd like to know what this song is really about. I don't know.
I really love the previous comment by steve0965.
What I got from this song: Ad Rock had been spending a lot of time alone, programming beats. He made a lot of the beats on Hello Nasty & a side project called BS-2000. And Me sounds like a person who is too wrapped up in their own thing due to spending too much time alone with computers & studio equipment. Maybe these things were like a "best friend", but now have turned into a "worst enemy". "My life line's run by AT&T" could be in reference to the internet available in 1998. "They got their wires all up in me." Maybe this is why they called the basement studio where they recorded Hello Nasty "the Dungeon." If you like And Me you should check out Simply Mortified by BS-2000.
