The Lonely Waltz Of Leonard Cohen Lyrics
Last week I could not believe what I would see the tears rolled down softly. Nudged down the stairs oh so sadly. We could steal the truth to never be seen. One stair. Two stairs. Three stairs go spiraling. At best a cracked head will stop your smiling. Playful blood streams trickling and smirking. At the bottom of a stairwell I saw you. I swear... One stair. Two stairs. Three stairs go spiraling. Waiting...I'm waiting...

Oh man, when Brandon is whimpering at the end, it's more than what words can describe. He has such a unique and gorgeous voice. ... yeah, I really dont understand this song.
this song is fucking beautiful. i love brandon's vocals. they make me want to cry.
great song. on the split 7" with city of caterpillar. creepy sounding song.
probably one of the best songs ive ever heard by pg99. probably one of the most creative songs ive ever heard period.
and yes it sounds VERY creepy. the singer of city caterpillar played bass for pg99 and thats his vocals you hear on that song. at least thats what i think. he has a creepy voice. unique lyrical style. guess that doesnt make it a style at all, though. anyone who tries to copy his vocalling should be shot.
This song is beautiful. It's just amazing and gives me a feeling that I can only describe as accurate.
yea the singer of city of caterpillar sounds like a really dark version of cedric from at the drive in, but i think the coc dude is a lot better.
so i'm always left wondering, what does this song have to do with leonard cohen? did he write a poem about someone falling down stairs, or actually witness it, or what? as far as i know the guy is still alive. as amazing and creepy and awesome as this song is, i don't know enough about lc to get the meaning. someone help me out.
also. i think pg 99's 'creepy' stuff, ie the coc and mr splits, is some of their best. also btfpiw, sonnet to both ugly and murderous, etc. their weird, atmospheric 'horror music' really displayed their talent. god, i still obsess over this band constantly. as i said the other day.. i have a crush on pg 99.
Does anyone know for SURE that this is the vocalist of City of Caterpillar on this song? I know it sounds like him, but does anyone actually have any proof that it is?
It's him. Proof: My ears.
i thought brandon always did vocals for pg. 99. just in this song he does it in his CoC style
