what do you guys reckon it means? i think that "rizzo" refers to someone that davey knows, and "in the box" is referring to a coffin. i think that the person he is talking about killed themself, and he is really bitter about it, which can be seen in the lyrics "its sad when someone you know very well decides to fuckin die and go away." he seems confused by why this person wanted to kill themself, "you were once someone i called my friend, but thats all now changed and i dont know why." it seems like he was angry that this person died when he cared about them. like how could they do that to him? this is just what i reckon, what do you think?

Yeah, this is probably my favorite on ATASF. The tempo changes between verse and chorus are just so awesome, and Ilove the melodies. I think the song is about when a friend ditches you or betrays, you and how hurt it can make you, or something like that.
u know thats exactly how i interpreted this song, he was angry because someone he was close to died, and hes lashing out at that person for abandoning him or somehting

i love the old afi it makes me happy okay i think that this song can be about someone who has died. but i also think it can be about someone that you know like a friend. Who you always try to be a good friend too, but that person keeps pushing you away. You keep on trying but then you realize that you dont need that person and you dont deserve that pain. So you decide that their "small life doesnt mean a thing" lol idk but that is what i gget out of it
