Coming to you, on a dusty road
Good loving, I got a truck load
and when you get it, you got something

I'm a soul man
Got what I got, the hard way
and I'll got make better, each and every day
So honey, I said don't you fret
'cause you ain't seen nothing yet
Well grab the rope, and I'll pull you in
Give you hope, and be your only boyfriend ya ( ya ) ya ( ya ) help!

I've always wondered about that Woodstock bit in this song because it was a hit in 1967 - two years before Woodstock, the festival, happened in August 1969.

Missed an entire verse there. Goes as follows:
I was brought up on a side street I learned how to love before I could eat I was educated at Woodstock When I start loving, whoa I can't stop
The third & fourth line in the" missed verse" are suppose to be...
I was educated, from good stock (not Woodstock) When I start loving, I just can't stop
voodoochilde and I discussed this on the Blues Brothers version.
"the Blues Brothers version does not say "Woodstock", however the popular Sam & Dave version does. the original writer, (who wrote it for Same & Dave), actually went to a school named Woodstock, but Jake Blues didn't, so Belushi just sings it his way."
