welcome to the new suburban fables
dressed up like a tomb inside a cradle
if you're paying peanuts you get monkeys
better save that silly money for junkets

love this song.... when i play it i just want it to go on forever. great song to put on repeat. ahhaa. powderfinger simply seems to be saying this world has been so used to throwing lies at each other that telling the truth is a revolutionary, defying act.... that we are born and die without bringing anything with us.... that we are destined to die the moment we're born.... you get what you give and the ways of this world is plotted by the vicious dominance of consumerism...... if i'm wrong, then i am completely dumbstruck by this song
