For some reason I can't expalin, this song always makes me think of Rupert Murdoch. That is the beauty of the song, everyone thinks of their very own 'Bad Old Man'. It is so sad how underrated Babybird (Stephen Jones) is.

Well someone is posting now! But is anyone reading? I heard this was about some very popular DJ but Stephen Jones has never revealed who. I think maybe Chris Evans but i don't know why! Very under-rated artist which is ashame. These must be the darkest pop songs ever.

The song alternates between a cruel relationship between a successful Bad old Man, in the entertainment industry, and an attractive (toy boy) step son.
The son see's his other brother(friend in boyband?) drowning in a duck pond, and, anger makes him take a hammer to his "bad old Man"', who, having got a reaction from, and unable to walk, is now pleased. Caus now he owns the young man for life....
