I really hope you're still here, @Ultimate Panopticon. It would be amazing after 17 years. But as for your comment, I agree with you. The song is pretty self-explanatory. Except for one element: what does the singer mean by a "broken heart"? Why does she say that her lover has his heart broken? Why does she sing "I heard a rumour / They say you got a broken heart". Did he cheat and because of being dumped does he consider himself the victim? So many years, so many doubts.
