I believe it's about all the people who influenced/inspired Daft Punk. It would make sense given the title.

This song is actually a sort of a tribute/remake of "Ghetto Shout Out" by Parris Mitchell(He's named in the song). Can anyone figure out the last 3 for sure? I'm also not 100% sure on Brian Wilson, but I don't know which other Brian wilson they would be talking about.

I'm assuming all this song is is randomely naming off people who are "in da house".

This song makes me laugh, mostly because of the vocals.

I notice some of them as predominantly Funk Artists

It's not "Pat Melva in the house".

It's actually "Van Helden's in the house."

This is basically a shout-out to DP's influences.

Man, nothing get's past you all... Funk artists - yeah, DP really owes alot to funk, as do all electronic musicians. Like alot of their tracks, this is really stupid and simple, but still alot of fun to listen to.
Recipe: Take a vocal track, throw one up an octave and one down, each in one speaker, a simple beat and bass synth over it and voila! It is kinda punk really - hence their name. It probably took them 10 minutes to do.

And yes, very funky. I love those fat, swelling synths...

Funk artists... yes... because as we all know, Dr. Dre is a funk artist.
