God damn...I dont care what anybody says Sublimes lyrics were written by a higher power...by far the most amazing lyrics of any band...EVER
It brings a tear to my eye everytime I think,"what is they were still around today???" They would have kept shit comin for years and years...I swear to god I would empty my bank account to see Sublime play a live show today!!!
And this song may be one of the best...combination of the beautiful lyrics and music...Sublime's music is exactly what the name entitles...PERFECTION
this is definately one of my favorite sublime songs. it's about how messed up the world is. the whole "perfect world" thing is sarcastic but also used to describe how some people just put on their rose-colored sunglasses and pretend everything is fine.

Meaning of this song is pretty straight forward, jackrabbit put it quite nicely. Anyways, here's some trivia.
This song is one of the first (perhaps the very first) songs that Sublime wrote. For the longest time though, the only version available (or the only one that wasn't extremely rare) was a live version that cuts off abruptly at the end. This changes with the release of "Everything Under the Sun" which includes a very nice live in studio version of the track. I recommend any and all Sublime fans head down to your local music shop and pick this up, it's a three disc set so it's a bit pricey but it is damn worth it for any Sublime fan.

It's weird, I swear I've heard the version where he says "crack cocaine," but all I can find within my collection are the versions that say something else (I guess it's "that bong").
