Fighting Blindly Lyrics
Why must we fight with each other
Why must we lie around in vain?
Do we truly hate our brothers?
Or is it just that it's so hard to take?
Keep going lower lower lower
Movin' tryin' to be a star star star
Appreciate the reggae reggae reggae
Fighting blindly through the paper of lies
Fighting blindly through the paper of lies
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Keep on skankin' Ronnie
Skank the night away
But the time is coming
For us all to pay pay
Why must we lie around in vain?
Do we truly hate our brothers?
Or is it just that it's so hard to take?
Movin' tryin' to be a star star star
Appreciate the reggae reggae reggae
Fighting blindly through the paper of lies
Fighting blindly through the paper of lies
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Skank the night away
But the time is coming
For us all to pay pay

This is Sublime's oldest song, they recorded this before they were officially a band back in 87. Almost as old as I am.
Same here, I was only two when they recorded this song. It got more success when they converted into Burritos, which was such a catchy song on their self-titled album. This shows how much talent they had when they were just starting out.

"Why must we fight with each other Why must we lie around in vain? Do we truly hate our brothers? Or is it just that it's so hard to take?"
also tryin to say how they they love reggae music becasue its not like how everyone is, hating around everone and waht not.
This song is track 1 on the bootleg Dog Gone Blues.
I believe the lyrics are supposed to be "or is it just the way we're taught to think"
