It’s 100% about her getting her ass eaten clean out
I loved this song for it's chorus ever since I was a little girl and heard it in the trailer to Bed of Roses on my Little Women VHS :)
I don't think it's necessarily about lesbian love. She talks about being promiscuous with men. So maybe she is in a swinging relationship, or considers all these men she's with as loving relationships? haha Idk, but the music in this song gives me goosebumps at...

what is this song about?? I have been trying to figure it out
I love how there are two bands named "Scarlet". This one however, just seems out of place lol
I thought the chorus was

I could well be wrong, good song either way!
"You might say this is another boring love song" I guess this is a love song that is cleverly daring to be different (in her opinion) to be more about the physical act of sex/making love and not just the emotional bonding of a relationship that love songs focus on, even though she is very emotional in her performance of the lyrics, especially the chorus. So she is trying to make this love song stand out from the others by spicing it up with the innuendo in the chorus while showing her, or the character in the song is different by being more like a free spirited lover, taking more lovers and not being with just one lover, however she is saying in the song "You could say this was an independent love song, It's nothing like to us what love meant to them, But, that's not to say the love we have isn't big or that strong" she is either talking to a current lover or the listeners of the song or a lover she has finally settled for and is going to teach them everything she has learned with past lovers. I dont know, but the song does stand out from other love songs, so congrats to the writer(s).
I think it's about lesbian love. It's a great song (I'm not gay if someone wonders).
