He does sound like Golem a bit lol.

But anyway, I think this is about a serial killer who has become so insane that he has become almost completely devoid of emotion. Hence "No joy, only eat." The killer has pushed the boundaries of mad and has become nothing but a mindless, functionless killing machine, and he will stop at nothing.
