Q&A
Cellophane Lyrics
Some days you feel grand, and there's games to play
Enter a flame you cannot explain, she is divine you say
I am grand and you are mine, will you dine today?
And she caught my heart with a gentle stare
Soothing me in every way, while she's slowly slipping away
Calm down, it's ok, she's too fine for you
Go away, she's got things to do, and has no time for you
And she broke my heart with a gentle stare
Losing her faster than sound, cause she knows no one lives in the ground
Don't you walk away, you're amazing
And I'd be blue if you didn't stay
Can you blame me, I'm just a fool from another day
And I'm lonely, so won't you be brave?
Feeling stoned in a funny way, guess it's time to go
Heading north where the days are cold, and the time is slow
I would live alone in my house of stone
Staring out at the sea, wondering what is wrong with me
Don't you walk away, you're amazing
And I'd be blue if you didn't stay
Can you blame me, I'm just a fool from another day
And I'm lonely, so won't you be brave?
Lights out and I cannot sleep, I guess it rained today
A blue rose I cannot keep has found a way
To make me change all the things I wear
Fading slowly with time, is the thought that someday she would be mine
Don't you walk away, you're amazing
And I'd be blue if you didn't stay
Can you blame me, I'm just a fool from another day
And I'm lonely, so won't you be brave?
Enter a flame you cannot explain, she is divine you say
I am grand and you are mine, will you dine today?
And she caught my heart with a gentle stare
Soothing me in every way, while she's slowly slipping away

And I'd be blue if you didn't stay
Can you blame me, I'm just a fool from another day
And I'm lonely, so won't you be brave?
Heading north where the days are cold, and the time is slow

This song has meant alot to me. I think it's about getting over infatuation with a girl who you find perfect and become so enamured in your fantasy with her that a part of you believes that someday you'll have her, even though thats unrealistic. It's about trying to put that past you and moving on.
If only I could believe I was a fool in love with the idea, this wouldn't be harder. But I'd be a fool to believe I didn't love the girl, so I guess that leaves everyone to wonder what is wrong with me. You'll never fade, please don't fade. L.O.C: 'Soothing me in every way, while she's slowly slipping away.'
this song is great. creeperadioasis said it perfictilly
mourning over lost love...a lost chance...yet still hopeful for another chance. makes me happy to see other ppl finally enjoying creeper...these threads were totally empty for the longest time...
"and i would live alone in my house of stone/ staring at the sea wondering 'what is wrong with me?'".... these lyrics rock my socks right off... gorgeous
completely nailed it jeatw405. wonder if it's like that for a lot of guys. it's such a shame that good bands like creeper lagoon barely get any recognition. What's the world coming to?
fear not annaS - although Creeper may not get the recognition of dreadful pseudo punk bands like Good Charlotte, they rest easy at night knowing that they make music that breaks hearts and changes lives
yep, selling out is overrated.
I love this song so much! It's all about unrequited love and trying to reconcile with realizing that your "perfect person" is not so perfect after all.
