Dont Wanna Go Lyrics
Living day by day
And having all the answers
Loving every moment till it’s done
The gears they start to grind
You feel your organs twist inside
Uncertain of the many things to come
But I don’t wanna come
Chorus
Its my turn I’m on deck
The pressure makes me sick
The future throws so many curves and I don’t wanna go
If I strike out and lose
Or make the headline news
The future throws so many curves and I don’t wanna go
Count down one by one
The days are getting shorter
The time will come for me to make my move
I’m so unprepared
I thought I’d do something
I haven’t got the strength in me to choose
Chorus * 3
I don’t wanna go
Don’t wanna go
And having all the answers
Loving every moment till it’s done
The gears they start to grind
You feel your organs twist inside
Uncertain of the many things to come
But I don’t wanna come
Its my turn I’m on deck
The pressure makes me sick
The future throws so many curves and I don’t wanna go
If I strike out and lose
Or make the headline news
The future throws so many curves and I don’t wanna go
The days are getting shorter
The time will come for me to make my move
I’m so unprepared
I thought I’d do something
I haven’t got the strength in me to choose
I don’t wanna go
Don’t wanna go

this band is awesome, someone should add the lyrics.. but im too lazy they were on much today =)
So it's definitely NOT about a ball game. Jesus christ. There is no underlying message really, it's just obvious in its words.
Crowned King is amazing, one of my favourite bands. Can't wait for their next concert here... In a couple days.
I think the baseball analogy is like a metaphor or something. I guess that's what you could call it. the line "The future throws so many curves and I don’t wanna go" is the meaning of the song. someone who enjoys " Living day by day And having all the answers Loving every moment till it’s done" but is now faced woth the prospect of a future, where you have to make decisions all the time. I think this person is very indecisive. buit, you know, you're always being pressured into deciding your future before it gets here. I like this song alot. I can totally relate. anyways that;s just my two cents worth and what I takefrom the song when I listen to it. (which is very often of course!)
You know, it's funny. I keep thinking I posted a comment here, and then I realize that I never did.
As for the song, it's one of my favorite off the CD. I never really noticed the baseball analogy before, and I don't really think of it that way either. Maybe that's my baseball-hating attitude. I mean,I really don't like baseball, but I'm getting off topic.
The song's meaning is painfully obvious, so I'm not going to go into any detail that everyone lese has, no matter how many times anyone lese has analyzed it.
See you at the punk show.
I love this band, they were amazing @ v fest! i lvoe this song. it was the first song i ever heard that wasn't rap, and it literally saved my soul, as if i hadn't heard it, i would've been a horrid prostitot.
