I think this beats 'Ballroom blitz'. I love this song better. It's got more glam rock too it with great vocals.
i think its about the morning after... at night, with beer goggles on, she looked fine, but the next day she's no fox.
@Jethroskynyrd - This sounds about right, haha! I was about 8yo when this was popular, my older brother told me it was about fox hunts (because the only real words I knew were about being on the run, the scream, etc). I believed him for the longest time! Rotten brother.

The song is about a prostitute. Dunno why she's referred to as a 'Fox On The Run' but the band says it's so.
I always kinda figured it was about some girl who suddenly found herself "popular," because she changed her ways. Now she's a stuck-up bitch who thinks she's better than everyone else and demands attention.
But that's just my guess. It kind of fits, but whatever.
