Yay! Happy Happy music! The meaning isn't really important, it's just about love and happiness but you get more from the music than the words. Hurrah for gloriously happy, slightly abstract music!

Polyphonic Spree is a great group. I saw them live over the summer and they were energetic and fun. They have this Sgt. Pepper, Sesame Street Rock kind of vibe that is really uplifting. The Beginning Stages of... is a splendid album.

It's a fantastic song to be honest. the orchestration is damn fantastic and pretty well perfect. i've had this stuff since it was first released in the US, and i've not really tired of it, that probably makes me kinda sad, but it is fantastic inspiring stuff without a doubt. Energetic doesnt really cover it, it is amazing.

It's just so cute. There are a few good, original and interesting bands out there, and this is one of them. It's not the most deep or revolutionary, but fun, easy music.

With orchestration this fantastic - 'perfect' is going pretty far - you hardly want more than three lyrics. I first heard this crazy pop orchestra at free outdoor concert. Then, I was amused but kind of disturbed by all of the robes and choreographed headbanging and seemingly unnecessary happiness. This whole album, and this song in specific, made me reconsider my judgment that the group was just another one of those over-simplistic flashbacks from the 60s.

I really think this song is just about finding love in general, someone who is willing to love you unconditionally (hence the soldier aspect of it). I'm a huge fan of The Polyphonic Spree. They have gotten me through so much...I would love to see them live!
