Actually, I think the lyrics have absolutely no meaning at all. And that's what makes this song so great.
In the seven minute-version there are two tracks of lyrics in a loop, entwined in another sometimes with one in the center, sometimes with the other, sometimes as a duet. But the focus is not on the lyrics, but on the melody, the words are just filler, used to sound similar to a song.
It's an instrumental song with the voice as another kind of instrument. That's how it always appeared to me. And I love it for that.
