I think most negative feedback is from the video... It's hilarious though, one of the best videos ever made. The song isn't that good without the video.

wow poor george, hes put his views across but now hes in loadsa trouble, i just think the songs different but i dont really understand what hes saying and someone sed hes refering to the world trade and how bush handled it, i dont think thats right. its a good song tho, maybe change the lyrics

Not sure I understood really well what this song is about but it seems to me like it's about how the politics use their power to do what they want and rule the world without even caring about everybody....the message seems to be we cannot trust our leaders (presidents, kings and/or ministers). An outstanding video !!! :)

this song is really show how george is concerning about what happening in the world cause of muslims terrorist ... you can see him mentioning Ayatollah in his lyrics which this word related to muslims .. he means by that all terrorist muslims will bomb a lot of innocent people in the world and ofcourse he was right and now muslic are tagetting westerns everywhere. This song also show about islamphobia everywhere in the world. So, george means by this song about all arabs terrorist and i thing he trys to tell people in the world all muslims will sooner or later will attack us everywhere if we do not do more effort to stop them from the first place but ofcourse not as bush and blair way !!!

Always taken this to be criticising the government for somewhat blindly following a World "super power". Also seems to have a laugh at the fact that Cherie Blair might be feeling a little neglected. I wouldn't say that not releasing it in America is phony. I should imagine he realises that political views are a lot different in the US and doesn't want to alienate a market.

haven't actually heard this song... but feel there is waaay too much negative feedback from it. A lot more contriversial songs manage to get released... its ridiculous. The lyrics do actually suck, but not coz they are offensive, just coz they are pretty crap

From what I've heard, George has even admitted that this song was about how the U.S. in his mind deserved what happened on September 11th, or at least the U.S. government did. Try telling that to the people who lost their family members at the WTC who don't even work for the government, George, or the people on the airplanes. You think maybe the terrorists coulda made their anti-US governemnt statement which you agree with in a wee bit different way, Georgie?

He's also speaking out against Britain for supporting the U.S. "Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony, I know that you're horny, but something about that Bush ain't right" not only illustrates this but implies Tony Blair and Bush are having a homosexual relationship. Maybe George is hoping they're gay so he can join in on the action, I don't know.

The part that really irks me is that Michael won't release this song in the U.S. That's just being a phony and a fraud. If you want to say it, have the balls to come out and share it with the U.S. and the people whose family members died on the 11th, you coward. By not releasing it here, he's just proving that he cares more about U.S. money than U.S. foreign policy.
