I downloaded this song....can't find any site that says it's a sublime song, but the mp3 is named "sublime - be a man (very rare)". It's about cutting through the crap and just taking responsibility for yourself and being a good person.
this is definatly NOT a sublime song. i have the same mp3, and there's no way it's sublime.

This isn't Sublime, it might be from one of the member's older bands or something. Someone told me it might be a song from the band Sligtly Stoopid, I dont know. The song kicks ass tho.
I agree that it's not likely a sublime song. I love sublime and it definitely doesn't sound like anything else they did. I suppose my intention in posting the lyrics was to see if anyone knew who it actually was because this is a great song. I checked out Slightly Stoopid and it doesn't look like they did it. Any other ideas? Imagine that; a great song and an anonymous artist? Could it be the soggy bottom boys?
its definatly not slightly stoopid, eric and bud were in a band called juice bros... it could possibly be them. but i kinda doubt it.

okay someone said the guitar doesnt sound like sublime. but just so you know sublime does a lot of punk, and it's DEFINATELY not slightly stoopid, well, atleast its not miles or kyle singing. it sounds more like brad than them. idk it could be sublime but i'm not sure. i like it though
This song is absolutely, positively not Sublime. I logged on here hoping, by now, someone would have taken credit for it. I'm really curious about who does this song. I don't think it's anyone related to Sublime either. It was everywhere back in the Napster days, when unknown bands (or fans of unknown bands) would label a song with a popular artist in order to get downloads. Unfortunately, the song never seemed to be labeled with the real artist's band name. If anyone finds the answer, I'd love to know.
