The way the intro slowly builds up and comes at you is a great effect. It's all so haunting and painful. I get a feeling it's about resisting/fighting against something e.g. some kind of differences (people not fitting in).

Perhaps it's quite cliche and it's simply about a break up, but I suspect there's more to it.
