There's a place
I sometimes see you there
It's a place that I visit
Most every night
And I see your face
Your eyes tell me you still care
But it's suddenly over
With morning's first light

As the day begins
This feeling is going strong
And sometimes the only thing
That keeps me going on
And until you find
Your own way back to me
I'll be forever
Dreamin' the dream

As the day begins
This feeling is going strong
And sometimes the only thing
That keeps me going on
And until you find
Your own way back to me
I'll be forever
Dreamin' the dream

Oh I'll be forever
Dreamin' the dream

    My Interpretation
Beautiful, wistful song. If you have loved and lost, but never stopped loving, you will understand this song. You go to sleep, and you dream that you are still loved, but with mornings first light, comes the reality, and so you cling on to hope, "but until you find your way back to me, I'll be forever, dreaming the dream." What a shame the album (Time) 1995 flopped, a public tired of FM's constant infighting, breaking up, change of line up (this one is sung by the songwriter, Bekka Bramlett,) virtually ignored it, but there is some beautiful, heartfelt stuff on it, including Christine McVie's swansong for Mac (I'd do it) All over again. Worth a listen.
