This song together with The Saint's "(I'm) Stranded" stand up proudly as Australia's two best classic punk rock anthems.
Gotta love this song! I saw a vid of them doing it live in 77' and they tore the roof off the place! It was played real fast and at the end they just smashed their shit and left the guitar wailing, leaning up against the stack. IMO they did a better version live than on record... I think that can be said of alot of the (punk) music in Australia/ UK/ USA around 1977..

This song is fan-fucken-tastic! I love this song, the birdman's best. To me it's about rising up against people, but that's just me.

Radio Birdman were an essential (if overhyped) necessity in (Australian) rock. Their imagery did border on the Third Reich's, but I think Tek was well aware of that, as he was a military obsessive. They sure belted out some great anthems and are probably better than The Saints (but what's the point in comparing bands, anyway). Pip Hoyle was definitely the MOST radical of the entire group, though
