Tommy Mottola was the head of Sony Music Australia at the time (he might still be), and I think got married to Leah McLeod of House of Hits fame.
This song may be bitterly sarcastic, but I think Regurgitator were starting to get annoyed with Warner around then and may have been playing with the idea of going to Sony? Maybe not. They are currently an independent band, I think.
Turns out he was in charge of Sony Music internationally, and his wife was Mariah Carey - it's a wonderfully caustic indictment of their relationship, both professional and personal.
