Day in the Life of... Lyrics
when I was a little boy in my home town
everyone picked on me.
I was treated like no other
and I had an older brother,
who helped in the festivities.
whatever happened to those days when I did nothing?
Man, did I have it made.
Then I got older.
no longer easy in this episode of the day
in the life of me oppurtunity knocks at the door
but I can't take it anymore.
This end of the deal is cheap
dressing up like superman
underoos like spiderman
it's all in my memories.
I wanna go home.
everyone picked on me.
I was treated like no other
and I had an older brother,
who helped in the festivities.
whatever happened to those days when I did nothing?
Man, did I have it made.
Then I got older.
no longer easy in this episode of the day
in the life of me oppurtunity knocks at the door
but I can't take it anymore.
This end of the deal is cheap
dressing up like superman
underoos like spiderman
it's all in my memories.
I wanna go home.

This song is really true. When I was a kid, I was also picked on. At the time that seemed so bad, but now I wish that was still my only worry. Then when he says "dressing up like superman underoos like spiderman it's all in my memories" it reminds me of how after being picked on I would go play with my Buzz Lightyear stuff (as the singer did with superman and spiderman)
