this song is AWESOME!!! so many gazillion parts, you cant even understand what anyones saying in the middle!! pure GENIUS! and i love the ending, how it leaves you hanging before everyone yells SNOW! lol
i think it was really cool how throughout the first disc they had christmas bellsa re ringing...not her! and then they actually madea song that encompassed everyone. I was surprised that roger invited mimi to dinner but i thought it was amazing how he just keeps opening up but hen when he syas we shoudlnt hold hands that hes still kinda of skeptical of getting involved. i dont really understand f collins got something for angel when he says "whats on the floor lets see some more... no no " or is he referring to the coat? nevertheless all the parts about the homeless on christmas eve and how they made the song all these religious songs liek "oh holy night" or carol of the bells (falalalala) silent night (you have the right to remain...) but overall amazing CONFUSING AMAZING song
i think this my favorite? it's not so emotional, but it's amazing. with all the different parts composed to fir together, it shows amazing talent.
meerys74, angel's referring to a coat. and, i don't think it was meant to be religious, just a sort of spin off of classic christmas songs.
And it's such a crucial part of the show, because so much is happening.
Collins' and Angel's relationship is getting more serious.
Roger comes to terms he can't handle his and Mimi's relationship, but finally gets the courage to try to make it work, though he isn't fully ready (let's not hold hands yet/is that a warning?/he/you/i just needs to take it slow)
And even though Mark says he's over Maureen, there's so many hints throughout the song to say he still has feelings for her. \
