DAMN YOU PEOPLE ARE STUPID. She killed him cos he was more famous than her? WELL THEN THAT FUCKING SOLVES THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATION FOR US!!! Kurt had issues his whole life. He was depressed, insecure, narcisistic and narcoleptic, and he had a rare stomach disorder that made his life hell. He tried to commit suicide 4-5 times in the years before that, but someone managed to keep him alive. Guess who that was? (Hint: it was not Dave Grohl.)

1. Let's say, as some of you dumbasses already have, that courtney wants some money. Despite her big fucking house and all the loads of shit she has, she still wants more. She has 2 options: A) Allow her husband to continue topping the charts and bringing in the big money with his platinum albums or B) Kill the fucker. Leave with nothing.

2. She killed him cos he was more talented than her? That is just so fucking ignorant that i simply cannot believe you have somehow managed to live this long. If it were up to darwin, evolution would have eliminated you and your kind aeons ago.

3. The heroin: Firstly, Kurt had been on smack for years, so naturally he's built up somewhat of a tolerance to it. Secondly, it's not like turning on a lightbulb, it takes a while for it to take effect. If he already had the shotgun with him, he would have had no trouble. WHo are these experts that are telling you this anyway?

4. She hired someone to kill him? She was in another state at the time, and he escaped from rehab just hours before he died. How the hell do you think she would have planned that out?

5. She wanted the spotlight? After the vanity fare case situation, she wanted to stay the hell out of it for a while. SHe got plenty of publicity just being his wife. Anyway, if she really needed to get in the magazines, all she needed to do was go get drunk on a plane, flash herself and then attack someone. As she does now.

6. She wanted Frances to herself? Yes, cos every woman dreams of someday being a widowed single mother. Particularly the one's who are addicted to drugs and have to fly all over the planet all the time.

All your 'motives' are both circumstantial and irrelevant. Try bringing this case into a court, the judge'll hold you in contempt for being an ignorant fuckhead. What exactly is it that automatically makes you disbelieve the simplest and most plausible explaation and search for the stupidest conspiracy theory you can find? Have you idiots have any idea what the fuck your talking about, Courtney would never kill Kurt. And if you had any idea how much of a reck she was after Kurt's suicide, you would know how stupid you are. And if you read what 'shadowwiththeeyes' said then you would no that Coutney couldn't have killed Kurt. Oh, and inside_the_cynic, Kurt made this song just as little as Courtney did cuz it's been covered alot, and if you read the commets of this song in the Nirvana section you would know that lingsam put a large comment about the history of the song and that it is very, very old and that it was originally called 'In The Pines' (which also reminds me that the lyrics are wrong cuz it isn't supposed to say 'in the patch'...) therefore Kurt didn't have to give legal rights to Courtney.

I like Courtney's cover of this song. Not quite as much as Kurt's cover (I'm only comparing Kurt and Courtney because they both covered this, NOT because I senselessly hate one of them), but I still think she did a great job and has one of the coolest voices I've ever heard.
