My FAVORITE song by them! I take it that this is about the bad relationship Kat has with her mother. She's talked about the mother figure in her life being abusive and beating her.

I don't take it as being abandoned more of an abusive / controlling relationship with her mother / sister.
She is trying to tell them that she is her own person but but cannot accept that and take joy in watching her "crawl on the floor".
