The song and especially the video is a remake of the 1961 movie "Whistle Down the Wind" starring Hayley Mills
This was a strange song about some mysterious drifter that was either a murderer or the messiah. The video told the story better, like when the murder victim's chalk outline gets up and describes what happened to him.
