anyway, Yeah, this song actually reminds me a lot of Malibu, and dang, I wish they would have stuck with this sound (and song) for Celebrity Skin. I think they could have done so much more with that album. BUT THAT'S OKAY. i really like this song.

I sorta like how songs can mean one thing to someone but something else to another person

I saw this song in a way that speaks more generally to a relationship. It's saying that "even though you may not want to be with me as much as you would like me to think that I want you to take me with you and to bring me in close to you in a metaphorical way" Then in the "I PITY" part I think it's sorta talking to people who've been hurt, which would be everyone.

Thats just what I got from it in a simplified summary so it may not be what Courtney intended to portray through the lyrics.

This isn't one of their better songs, lyrically, but it's otherwise a great song. Super catchy.
