this song makes me think of someone in a relationship realizing that they really don't know who their partner is. that one night in bed (or other ) they had an intimate conversation and one learned things about the other that they did not expect. and now, its like, 'what else do i not know' about this person who shares my bed. that someone can becomes so obsessed with wanting to know all they can about their partner, that they would wish they could follow their every move to know more about this suddenly mysterious-interesing person who their with.
i love the melody of this song, it's kinda haunting.

Is it because of the video that influenced over me or not but every time that I hear that tune I get the feeling it is night. Such a night-ish song!

So this song appears to be the girl's response to the guy's song. In the song "Love and Hate", it appears the guy is fighting his demons and decided to open up to the girl because he trusts her.. it says on the song "I believe, she won't take me where I'm not supposed to be".
Now on this song "I Wish I Could Fly" is from the perspective of the girl, the guy opened up to her and she realized she does not know him as much as she thought she did. She wants to know more about him. The way the song was sung, you could tell that she cares about him and have a deep yearning to know him.
