Millicent Didn't Want To Wait For It To Get Better Lyrics
its over, boys
and i think i might die
and if i do it'll be ok
it'll be alright
i know it ain't been long
but i seen more
than i need to decide
that things are going to change
and i'm not,
remember me not
to the other side
oh its been fun
its been a real good ride
but the future is gonna be extreme
and i'm not
so goodbye
no you've been all fine
how i loved to fly
its just a cruel fucking world
and i'm not
remember me not
to the other side
and i think i might die
and if i do it'll be ok
it'll be alright
i know it ain't been long
but i seen more
than i need to decide
that things are going to change
and i'm not,
remember me not
to the other side
its been a real good ride
but the future is gonna be extreme
and i'm not
so goodbye
no you've been all fine
how i loved to fly
its just a cruel fucking world
and i'm not
remember me not
to the other side

It's about a girl, Millicent, who commits suicide. I think it was used in a musical or something.
The True Story of the Bridgewater Astral League was a show they actually put on a few times... I'd kill to see it.
Sabbit is correct, BWAL was performed several times. This song in particular has an eerie legend attached to it. One performance had been done on a rooftop in Brooklyn, Millicent committing suicide in the end by jumping off the edge. The actress playing Millicent in that production was rumored to be truly suicidal, and on the night of the final performance, she jumped without wearing the harnass that usually kept her from meeting her character's fate.
