Medical Love Song Lyrics

Inflammation of the foreskin reminds me of your smile,
I've had ballanital chancroids for quite a little while,
I gave my heart to NSU that lovely night in June,
I ache for you my darling, and I hope you get well soon.

My penile warts, your herpes, my syphilitic sores,
Your moenelial infection, how I miss you more and more.
Your dobie's itch, my scrumpox, our lovely gonorrhea,
At least we were lying when we said that we were clear.

Out syphilitic kisses sealed the secret of our tryst,
You gave me scrotal pustules with a quick flick of your wrist.
Your trichovaginitis send shivers down my spine,
I got snail tracks in my anus when your spirochetes met mine.

Gonoccocal urethritis, streptococcal ballinitis, Meningo mylitis, diplococcal cephalitis, Epididimitis, interstitial keratitis, Syphilitic choroiditis, and anterior u-ve-i-tis.

My clapped out genitalia is not so bad for me,
As the complete and utter failure ever time I try to pee.
My doctor says my buboes are the worst he's ever seen,
My scrotum's painted orange and my balls are turning green.

My heart is very tender though my parts are awful raw,
You might have been infected but you never were a bore.
I'm dying of your love my love
I'm your spirochaetal clown,
I've left my body to science
but I'm afraid they've turned it down.

Gonoccocal urethritis, streptococcal ballinitis, Meningo mylitis, diplococcal cephalitis, Epididimitis, interstitial keratitis, Syphilitic choroiditis, and anterior u-ve-i-tis.

Boy, if there was ever a raging endorsement of safe sex, this is it. Just listening to all those STDs is frightening. It's a funny song, it really is, but it's pretty poignant too (listen to me, psychoanalyzing Monty Python...what's wrong with me?)

Written by Graham Chapman- did he write any others? He had a medical degree, so it's true, write what you know. I've tryed memorizing this one, but it's impossible. GREAT song- one of the treasures most of the world has never heard. The first line draws you in, then you're hooked. (Ouch)

BTW- what does NSU mean?

I think NSU are his lover's initials, maybe old-school stuff like carving them into a tree.

@loderunner

Non-specific urethritis (NSU) means any inflammation of a man's urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside) that is not caused by gonorrhoea (a sexually transmissible infection)

Minor point, but if you want to look this stuff up (at least in US references, can't vouch for UK spellings), you need some correct spellings, which I think are "balanital", "monilial", "dhobie's", "gonococcal", "balanitis", "meningomyelitis", and "epididymitis".
