I have no idea what the meaning of this song actually is. But for certain parts, it feels like he's talking about his past - the 'you' he refers to.. Not really sure if that makes any sense but that's how I read into certain parts.

In all seriousness though I think Faythe had the right idea, sounds as though he is somehow referring to his past
