Up The Downstair Lyrics
Sleep
Until the colours dissolve
Leave the dream to rain-soak forever
In blessed moments
Viewed from trains of half-truths
Monuments burn into moments
Up into other worlds
Other ascensions
Without deep sorrow to endure
Black Sunday of sleep
Open for small angel escapes
Moved by buildings to tears
They week in the rain
Am I at home?
Am I in heaven?
Gentle Architecture
Until the colours dissolve
Leave the dream to rain-soak forever
In blessed moments
Viewed from trains of half-truths
Up into other worlds
Other ascensions
Without deep sorrow to endure
Open for small angel escapes
Moved by buildings to tears
They week in the rain
Am I at home?
Am I in heaven?
Gentle Architecture

This Song is very interesting, because the musical component merges with the lyrical... in this song, theres a continuous background melody... the song has a 'flow'. I think this respresents the movement 'Up The Downstair', which is endlessly screwing up into heaven.
At least thats my impression...
i love that spoken part by the woman in the beginning. i agree with pw, i think the song continues the climb through the album.
Sleep Until the colours dissolve
That seems like mabey sleeping off your "trip" from LSD or some kind of halucinative drug. Hell mabey even weed. These lyrics seem like they are about feelings you have when you are on drugs (since the album is do damn trippy i def. get that feeling) continues the climb to euohoria mabey?
omg i love the beat of this song! very kick ass!
