Well...What do you think the title of this song means? Its water, yeah. But he uses the water in this song like some kind of bad thing. You suffocate in water. It can take away your breathing, your concentration, and sometimes your warmth/comfort. Its like the water is some negative void that he doesnt really fear that void so much, but it sure annoying to see it. Hmmm.

These are wrong. The entire end portion is omitted, and in one verse some of the lyrics are written as repeats of the earlier portion when they are actually slightly different.

^_^ I love this song. Nivek Ogre never ceases to amaze me. Anyway...honestly, I'm not entirely sure what this song is about. That's the beauty about it; the lyrics are so complex.

i believe that nivek, when writing lyrics, has a certain feeling he wishes to relay to his listeners... that being said, and this being the first song under the OhGr project... i believe he had the feeling of "another song that i wont get recognized for" = grey no petals no introduction... and then goes off into a tangent of how he feels inside... as a surreal artist i often just have a general idea i want to relay and then let the lines flow... letting the art do the talking and not what im actually trying to say... lol if that makes sense

^ introducing the begning of earth and the nature of existence. there is simply dirt and water (water making and breaking) , "gray matter" being not black (negative) or white (positive), it just simply IS. this is before man comes into the equation (seeming fine).

^ Man's faith in his will and everything (desire, religion...) has corrupted into ultimately a form of destruction. No one is willing to die for a greater cause (no martyr). This may also be a reference to Jesus in that man's faith in christianity is faulty because christ did not condem himself. ANYWAYS, man's nature has now brought violence and the creations of man have not progressed him, but actually put us back in that with more possesions and ideas comes more conflict between them.

^ This describes the apocalypse in that no one actually wants to fathom that our natural ways of operation will bring about our oblivion. regaurdless of good, bad, wrong, or right, it doesnt matter. We will eventually evolve to a point of complete extinction. There is no way back (no auto save)

^ This part makes the most sense to my interpretation of the song. We have neglected our actual conscienceness to our desires and just wanted to take and take from the world which has slowly lead us considerably down hill. Before the moment of despair we will try to change things but it will be too late. 'World objective equalization' i think is a reference to the domestication process of humans in where we try to destroy the uncertanties of life and find balance which has helped lead to our demise.

I was very inspired by ohGr they've given me alot of ideas for my paintings. This song in paticular really didn't sink in untill I was at the dock's and I was listening to this song I looked down into the sea and I saw this frog. It was looking around but not at me. Kinda of oblivous to my exsitence. These are absolutely the most idiotic comments explaining a song I've ever heard.And don't tell me "its open to interpretation" because that means the artist's message never was understood. The comments are obviously 15-25 yr old brainless children of today's technology age who are machines themselves.People who know anything about Skinny Puppy or just industrial music in general,know that most of the lyrics all talk about the programmed,dead minds of christians and how the THEIR souls are the ones who are truly damned and the herd mentality of society in believing whatever the government tells them without question.How the jews are bringing communism under one world government,assimilating all people together and how mindless,weak people are going along with it allowing themselves to be enslaved or destroyed.The underlying message is that we must wake up and resist.
