Happy Trails Lyrics

Nmmmmmm dip dip Mmmmnnnnmm
Bum-ba-deeda-bum-ba-deeda bum-ba-deeda bum-ba-deeda (continued throughout)
Happy trails to you
Until we meet again
Happy trails to you
Keep smilin' until then

Who (Ooh-ooh) cares about the clouds when we're together
Just (Ahh-ahh-ahh) sing a song and think 'bout sunny weather

(two, three)
Happy trails to you
'Til we meet again
(laughter)

A class way to end an albums and live shows. From Wikipedia... "Happy Trails" by Dale Evans Rogers is a theme song for the 1950s television show starring Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Rogers, always sung over the end credits of the program. The first verse of the song was later covered by Van Halen on their 1982 album, Diver Down, and was usually the way the band would end live performances they did with their first lead singer, David Lee Roth. It was played on the 1993 debut album of bluegrass band Nickel Creek, back when they were children.

It's a fun song for the end of the show. They used to play this at bars during closing time fairly frequently. Once the "Closing Time" song came out, that was about it for this one.

Gotta admit that "Diver Down" isn't really one of their best albums. It has lots of those short songs like, "Catherdal", "Intruder", "Happy Trails", and I don't remember if anymore.

But the only song on "Diver Down" I like is, "Where Have All The Good Times Gone!".

The only thing I have to say is that VH should have NEVER EVER covered this song (or Big Bad Bill).

first time I heard this song, I almost burst out laughing wouldn't have been a good idea, on a crowded bus while wearing headphones
