All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is

Hey, spend your money on the corner now
Know you've gotta save some for the shoeshine boy
You've been pulling them by the hand inside
Oh, collecting all your toys
If you need a lead to heaven now, just stick around
You're going to be there
What do you care? What do you dare?
What does your heart say now?

All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is

Divine intervention, couldn't keep the word from leaking out
With your pleasure in suspension
Not to mention what you hang it around
If you need a lead to heaven
A place to share in every position
What do you care? What do you dare?
What does your heart say now?

All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is

More, more, more, gets more

Now, gets more

All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is

All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is, all she wants is, all she wants is
All she wants is

Well, I've heard lots of people describe the meaning of this song as being obvious. But especially after seeing the video, I wonder what is going on. Lots of interesting uses of imagery, like the apple, the cross. And I always think of the line from The Shining when I see Nick typing "All She Wants Is" over and over. "All work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy".

Interesting reference there to the Shining, Canada. You could very well be onto something there. I too believe that the song relays more than the obvious - on the other hand it seems to be like Simon having a field day with his creative outpourings. ;-)

Oh yeah, this song was in the movie "Monster" in a club scene near the beginning. I think it's the first song in the movie or close to first.

i believe this is a song about drugs. seriously, i'm not the kind of person who thinks about a song being about drugs just after hearing it haha.. all she wants is.. if you need a little heaven now.. the green liquid in the video and the whole well graphic design of the video which is very blurry and well.

Isn't it obviously about sex? I would say some kind of prositution.. Keep that in mind when you listen to it next time.

I think this song is about an addiction be it to drugs or sex (porn). "Spend your money on the corner now Know you've gotta save some for the shoeshine boy" "If you need a little heaven now, just stick around-- You're going to be there" Either choice induces a temporary euphoria for the addict, in this case, their "little heaven." Great writing from Le Bon.
