It's a sweet sensation
Over the dub
Oh what a situation
That don't want to stop
It's the drugstore soulboy
Over the dub
With the sweetest inspiration
We don't want to stop
Cause It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
(Yeah Yeah)
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's yeah (money or stuff)
Over the dub
Oh what a situation
That don't want to stop
Over the dub
With the sweetest inspiration
We don't want to stop
It's the money or stuff

It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff
It's the money or stuff

I think this song's just a humorous little autobiographical song about Gorillaz. 2D, Noodle, and Russel just like making music for the heck of it: It's a sweet sensation Over the dub...
With the sweetest inspiration We don't wanna stop...
Whereas grubby old band leader Murdoc's in it just for the money:
It's the money or stop...
So, it's either that or just a little comment on the fact that artists always say they create just for the love of creating art... but when you get right down to it, we all need to pay the bills...
yes. I don't think a single Gorillaz song is about drugs. that's such a shallow interpretation.
well since i contributed this song...i have to say it's obviously about drugs if you read it. He feels so good about taking drugs or whatever and he doesn't wanna stop but his money is becoming a problem.
Ok it's a decent opener. Anyway, this REALLY is about drugs obviosuly and Damon NEEDS to speak clearer. That's all I have to say, not too great of a song.
Hey guys, here's my view on the song: It's clearly about drugs because i read this: ( http://www.nme.com/news/damon-albarn/76364 ) If you read this sentence it makes sense:
It's the price for Over the dub With the sweetest inspiration We don't want to stop
He can't stop because he makes so much creative and new music, but he knows drugs is really terrible.
and also note the song title: re-hash ;)
uh-huh....obviously...or maybe "drugs" is a metaphor for the media...hmmm....i'm just kidding...
crazy stoned monkeys
hes not saying
its the money thats stuck´´ hes sayingits the money or stop´´He needs the money to keep the weed coming and the more money he has the more weed he buys and the more stoned he gets all the time...
