Yeah. something on the Anita Bryant wikipedia article that got linked really struck me- how her anti-gay cmapaing was called "save our children" or some bull like that. I love how facist assholes who have no constitutional backing for their opinions go "oh, this is plaguing our children. We need to ban it/get rid of it." all politicians do it, and I think it's one of the worst things about america- using kids as a shield for your asshat plans. too bad DK didn't write a song about that. (lemme know if they did.)

Brilliant political and social commentary by Jello Biafro and the Dead Kenenedys. This is basically centered around the Moral Majority (back in the eighties), a Christian organization that pushed its political agenda through a number of mediums, including televangelism.

This is so true. I'm so fucking sick of all these fake Christians with their political agendas and all their money grubbing bullshit. All they do is talk about money and brainwash people into donating to them and making them rich. They seem to be forgetting that Jesus said "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven".
