I agree with all of you. This song is vastly underrated. Cheap Trick songs express so much feeling with simple words. My favorite part is "come to my world, come away with me". What could be more direct (or romantic) than inviting the person you love to share your world with you?
It is insanity that this song has not been commented on. For my money, it is Cheap Trick's very best. The title track from the album, Standing on the Edge, is another fantastic forgotten classic. But the best thing about the song? "You don't know what it feels like loving you." The best lyric ever about breathless and desperate love.
I know. Great song. Definitely one of my favorite Cheap Trick songs. The loving mood in the beginning mixed with the high energy of the chorus, it reminds me of a more energized, less sulky version of The Flame (which is also very good).
