To me, this song is about people that does "what people are suppose to do" (or don't understand that society isn't healthy, and that it will never be healthy either). nowadays.. Go to work, make money, have a awesome-looking wife, a nice house and so on.. They just follow the streem, even if they can't/don't want to take the pressure of it all. Instead of saying "No, fuck this shit", they do about anything to just have other things to think of, (and get fanatic, or simply just need something to do, to be able to handle just anything) Drink, and take drugs just to remove the pressure for some hours forward. That's what i'm thinking.
Drinking and doin' drugs are Ok for me, but what i'm simply tryin' to say is that people doesn't do things for fun anymore, just because time is so painful, and tries to remove the pain. And I find it kind of weak doin' drugs/drink just because you don't have the balls to say "No".

Yeah, it's about dependency on all the junk society throws at you . . . all the inane products advertised on TV. It's about what happens when your life is nothing but the things you own and the clubs your in.
I think it's more about how adopting more passive habits stifles creativity. Rather than do something imaginitive or productive, the guy in the song keeps his brain 'busy' with drugs, both literal and metaphoric.
Not sure what it REALLY means but here's what it means to me. First verse is about alcohol. Second is about weed. Third is about caffeine. Rest is about the metaphorical drugs of society. I'm pretty much addicted to all of the above so I like this song.

I think it's all about weed. It could be for other drugs as well, but I feel that the ongoing weed metaphor is there. I agree with Wavin.
