Du somnar in
Ditt huvud tätt mot rutan
Och vid din kind
fladdrar imman som en dröm
Jag blinkar till
Tårar kan jag vara utan
Men för din skull
så gör jag vad som helst

Vi räknar dagar, räknar år
En skymt av solen doft av vår
Snart kommer regnet som en våg
Och sköljer bort
Allt som inte är musiken

Tellement loin de ce monde
Tellement loin de ce monde
Tellement loin de ce monde

Jai perdu mes repères
(övers: Jag har förlorat mina orienteringspunkter)
Je nage en eau trouble
(övers: Jag simmar i grumligt vatten)

I would suggest that FF stands for Fast Forward (like on casette players: FF, REW, REC, PLAY, STOP).

I think it does not say "Le Monde est-c'est nous", but "Le monde, c'est nous" which would mean "The world are we", like the quote "L'etat c'est moi" (the state am I)

What vendela posted is right; the lyrics on the page are wrong. For anyone curious it means "so far from this world".

yep, vendela is right about the lyrics. Says so if you buy the cd and read them from the sheet.

The only thing worth discussing about this song is what FF stands for. I'm guessing Franska Flickor ( = french girls) or French Fuck (meant as a joke)

Personligen så har jag problem med att greppa själva budskapet i sången som helhet. Vad vill de ha sagt?

Texten till sången kan även finnas på denna adress, för den som är intresserad att veta: kent.nu/text_visa.asp

    My Interpretation

I think that FF might stand for fortissimo, which is what it stands for if it's written on a note sheet, but I think that SleepingBeast may also be right about this fast forword (it fits the text very well).

First of all my swedish is a bit rusty, so I might have misunderstood some parts. The song might be about the sacrifices we make (perhaps for love), this I think is clearest from the last line of the verses - the ones about leaving/doing anything for you.

But it may also be about lack of purpose, and about being restless. It seems to me that it tells the story of somebody travelling (prehaps fleeing), and never stopping or setteling down. But somehow this "you" mentioned seems to make it worth doing, and maybe also makes it all make sense ("...the fog disperse // Thanks to you I breathe once again").

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
