No Light Lyrics
Look away cuz I'm strange in my mind
Let's make a place for me so I feel right inside
Lost what is gone, need to know to carry on
If I'd only see the light, maybe then I'd be alright
I know they'd rather see me down, on my knees than on my feet
Tell me what's this world we're living in, sometimes it feels so strange
(chorus)
On the outside, looking in, no light
Another man with the bloodshot soul
Get up, don't be one, stand up, control destiny
Go back to wake up, guns are blastin', hatin' me.
Can't take me, I've got to survive
First they order the hit then forget, it's all justified
No retreat, defeat, all that compete
Life full of tears, sin for 2000 years
Be not afraid, that's what they say, I'm fed more lies
See my violent self, all is passed away but dreams stay alive
Lost what is gone, need to know to carry on
If I'd only see the light, maybe then I'd be alright
I know they'd rather see me down, on my knees than on my feet
Tell me what's this world we're living in, sometimes it feels so strange
(chorus)
Test the best
Check pride inside minds
Never the enemy
I ain't never gonna diz-ie!
First your here today
And then your gone tomorrow
Why must we live this way?
Every day, wasting our lives
Now all is gone away
I shed a tear of sorrow
Too bad we couldn't stay
One more day, follow me tonight
Tonight
Let's go
Fly away tomorrow
Where everythings alright
Everythings alright
CHECK IT!
(chorus)

This is a very good song I dont know why many of you hate it.
I think it's talking about gangs and the dark society where people have "no light" whatsoever.
Everyday is like fighting, people want to see him down on his knees, while defending their own pride, but the man is tough and will never give up even he have "no light".
and in the last bit of the song they're doing something big and hopefully can "fly away tommorrow, when everythings alright".
Away from this place with no light.
Wow, 4 years since the last comment.
To me this song represents the product of a negative environment.
yeah i happen to Love this song... it's got just the right mix of rap and melody for My personal taste.. maybe i don't know enough about rap to tell if it's quality or not, but i do know it sounds perfectly awesome to me
seems you could say no light is just like saying no hope
This song stinks because it has no flow... It goes from lyrics I'd expect to hear coming from Sting into some hardcore, fast-paced lyrics that are, in my opinion, quite lame. Sorry for anyone who likes this song buts it's just no good.
Hmmm... this song is hard to interpret. I think it has a message of hope threaded throughout the dark lyrics. The speaker is in a society that he feels ostrasized and isolated from, and that he may be alone with 'no light'- no hope or comfort. However, towards the end the song gets more hopeful even as the beat gets mroe violent and choppy and he shouts more. All in all I like it though, and can really relate to the singer at times I feel hated and alone.
thank you stephan
yea this applies to people who are wondering about their self worth and feels hated.
the band members all grew up in a really ruff area, join gangs took drugs and basically destroyed there life untill they found music. thats what this songs about how they saw no light or hope when they were younger.
The singer of Third Strike looks like he should be a wrestler, or at least a drummer, but he has a really soft voice hehe its pretty funny actually.. he looks big ad threatening but sounds like a pussy... and whats with his crappy attempt at rapping? Third Strike remind me of Flaw :( I think this song's about not having any light. Well maybe I dunno I didn't read the lyrics....
