I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

In my adventures through the last 2 months, i have gone through a complete change, a highr level of consience, and i did it all for the love of the mother of my child, what lentghs will you go for true love. i asked myself the same questions and my answer always comes back to "the ends of the earth", this song for me, comes strieght from the heart, it shows the regret, the pain of "why did I mess this up", and I know exactly where this song is comeing from. it is one of the most powerful songs I have heard, you can feel the regret the pain, the utter heartache from the one who made the mistake...powerful. i feel this song.
