Golden brown, texture like sun
Lays me down, with my mind she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown
Every time just like the last
On her ship tied to the mast
To distant lands
Takes both my hands
Never a frown with golden brown
Golden brown, finer temptress
Through the ages she's heading west
From far away
Stays for a day
Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Lays me down, with my mind she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown
Every time just like the last
On her ship tied to the mast
To distant lands
Takes both my hands
Never a frown with golden brown
Golden brown, finer temptress
Through the ages she's heading west
From far away
Stays for a day
Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown

@Satan-lordofdarkness666 Any references for all that, or are you just guessing? Golden skin isn't restricted to the middle east, and how do you know for a fact that it's "TWO" distant lands and not "to"? Is there a lyric sheet in the record or something? Hugh Cornwell said that it applies to both women and heroin, not that it's about them seperately as two entities... Just that it can mean either. Why would the "prostitute" and the heroin be in two different places? And for that matter, where did the prostitute thing come into play to begin with? And why Saudi Arabia? If you're referring to the video, it's filmed in Egypt, Uzbekistan, United Arab Emirates, London England, and Iran.
