Scream In Blue Lyrics

Come to me now
Be careful what you say
Don't make a sound, there's noise enough in this
Come with me know, let night move into day
Let sheets keep secrets that no-one else could know
I could kill for this one time and not be caught
She said to me this is the one and I know
Come to me now, this is the final hour

Is he asking a girl to come and have sex with him or something? "let sheets keep secrets that no-one else could know' an affair perhaps, '...and no to be caught'

beautiful song by the way.

One of the few Oil tracks on "10-1" not to do with politics, but with love found and lost

It's about a nightmare.

The reference to sheets is to his bed where he sleeps where he has the nightmare. No-one else knows his dreams, and he doesn't really want others to know either.

I agree with previous comment - it's a about a nightmare, but I think the Intro specific is about nuclear war - missiles falling from the sky and destroying almost everything... and the 2nd section where he's singing is about the aftermath... the final moments of humanity, he's with his lover, what else can he do...? "Come to me now, this is the final hour"... ;)

My Interpretation

@FuzzBudgie Sorry - I meant to say it's a nightmare made real - what could be worse than this? ;)
