This is about a disastrous relationship ending up in divorce court. Talking to her is hideously complicated. The line "Blame it on plate tectonics" makes me think that this involves the subject of another of their songs "Victoria" as there they say "the earthquake shook her loose."

an allusion to the tale of Jason and the Argonauts, wherein when sewn like seed, the Hydra’s teeth would turn into an army of the dead. Cooooooool.
