This song is sweet in one way. This song is also a sad song. I think it's kind of nice for him to be up front how he feel. Some guys would cheat on their girl, or wife and don't tell them their a problem. He's being a man about the whole thing. He's really showing his love. He's showing his love and respect. He rather get out of the relationship, rather than cheating, which will more than likely hurt her even worse.
